hash brown casserole

Ingredients:

2 pounds of your favorite ground breakfast sausage.
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese.
1 can (10.75 oz) cream of chicken soup.
1 cup sour cream.
1 container (8 oz) french onion dip.
1 cup chopped onoins.
,25 cup each chopped red and green bell peppers.
salt and pepper to taste.
1 package 30 oz frozen hash brown shredded potatoes thawed.


How To

in a skillet brown the sausage. drain well. in a large mixing bowl, combine the cheese, chicken soup, sour cream, french onion dip, chopped onions, bell peppers, salt & pepper. fold in the thwed hash browns. mix well. spread one half of the hash brown mixture over the bottom of a greased 9" x 13" baking dish. spread one half of the browned sausage over the hash brown mixture. repeat layering the second half of the hash brown mixture. top with the remaining sausage. bake at 350 degrees for about one hour or until casserole is golden brown.

this is delicious. it will probably feed 4 big eaters or an army of light eaters so adjust the recipe accordingly or you may be eating it for three or four days.
