Grape Leaves
Ingredients:
grape leaves, 1 jar, containing at least 25 - 30 leaves for a single recipe,
use extras to line the pan and place on top of the rolled grapeleaves
1 lb ground beef
1 large or 2 med onions, minced
1 cup of uncooked brown rice
2/3 cup of water with 2 beef bullion cubes dissolved in it
mint tea from 6 -7 tea bags, or 2 tbsp dried mint
dust top with pepper
How To:
mix all.
rinse grape leaves.
roll - place 1-3 tbsp of meat mixture on the grape leaf depending on the leaf
size and roll the leaf from the bottom up and the sides in till it's all tucked in.
line bottom of pan with loose leaves.
add rolled grapeleaves, add a cup of water with another 3 - 5 dissolved bullion,
and top with loose leaves and water to cover all.
bring to boil then simmer covered for at least 2 hours.
