Swedish Coffee Ring

1 cup body temp. water
1 tablespoon dry yeast
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups flour
1 egg
1/8 cup butter flavored Crisco
2 cups flour (add as needed into breadmaker to make dough ball)

---Filling---
1/4 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 dash nutmeg
reconstituted and chopped apricots, apples, cherries, peaches, dates or other dried fruit

Place in machine in order suggested by your manufacturer and run on Dough cycle.

1. Roll out the dough into an oblong and butter well.
2. Sprinkle w/ sugar and spice mix.
3. Add fruit layer if you like.
4. Roll up as a jellyroll.
5. Place on large baking sheet and join ends together to form circle of dough.
6. Using kitchen scissors, snip 2/3 way thru in 1 inch intervals.
7. Turn sections until one sections lays on top of the next completing the ring.
8. Let raise until double.
9. Bake at 375 degrees F. until 30 minutes or so until done.
10. Using spatulas remove ring to seving plate while it is still very warm.
11. Pour confectioners sugar glaze over warm ring and decorate w/ nuts, cherries etc
